We can drone on and on with a bunch of fancy words and elaborate phrases, but what it all boils down to is simply having fun and sharing your SH2 experiences with others in a unique and entertaining way with an emphasis on realism.
The most important thing to keep in mind is that the Raiders Campaign does not support, let alone encourage the use of Nazi symbols (used only with historic items, flags,badges,and metals) or ideology in any way, shape or form. Hateful and defamatory behavior has no place here and members expressing these kinds of beliefs will be removed from the campaign immediately and without question.
Also, Silent Hunter 2 is only a simulation and above all else a game, albeit one that is based on WWII naval warfare. We ask that Raiders participants remain respectful to everyone, regardless of nationality, who lost their lives during the u-boat campaign in World War II and that we’re not here to glorify or condone war or acts of violence, but share in the open study of historical events.
